Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent with 2+ years technician experience, or 3 years of other hands-on medical device experience.
• Experience with balloon catheter, hydrophilic coating, or other cardiovascular devices development is preferred.
• Ability to work under a microscope and perform test method execution as needed.
• Familiar with GMP, GDP and laboratory practices and able to work in fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Generate functional prototype from design concepts and assist transfer to manufacturing.
• Support product builds through all R&D project phases and provide feedback on assembly.
• Assist engineers and technicians with procedures and product assembly.
• Perform testing to support design, process and equipment validation.
• Prepare test samples for routine and qualification testing.
• Maintain accurate documentation of concepts, designs, drawings and processes.
