Job summary

Stord is seeking an experienced HR Business Partner to partner across the corporate organization, with a strong focus on R&D, Product, and Engineering. This role combines strategic advisory work with hands-on execution, including investigations, comp analyses, and Workday transactions.

You will report to the Senior Manager, HR Business Partners and help the People team scale its credibility as a strategic partner while supporting a hybrid work model in Atlanta area.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in HR, business, or a related field with 7+ years of HR generalist or HRBP experience.
• Experience as an HRBP at a technology company and supporting R&D, Product, or Engineering organizations.
• Proven track record influencing senior leaders up to VP level and being seen as a strategic partner.
• Bias toward action with deep employee-relations expertise, including investigations.
• Experience with org design, workforce planning, and compensation and leveling concepts.
• Hands-on, do-it-yourself approach; comfortable drafting documents and running transactions.

Responsibilities

• Be a trusted advisor to leaders up to VP level and build strong partnerships that adapt to business needs.
• Analyze workforce data to spot trends and turn insights into actionable recommendations.
• Shape org design and workforce planning in collaboration with Talent Acquisition and Total Rewards.
• Support R&D by aligning engineering and product orgs with People solutions.
• Partner through change during reorganizations, acquisitions, and integrations.
• Raise the profile of Corporate HR as a strategic partner across the business.
• Own employee relations, coach managers, and drive investigations to resolution.
• Drive talent processes including performance, calibration, and promotions.
• Execute Workday HR transactions with high accuracy and maintain clean data.
• Support distributed/global workforce including international employment.
• Draft policies and manager guides to scale the team.
