Jobot is seeking a Director, R&D Tax Credits in Bethesda, MD to lead a high-impact practice, advise innovative clients, mentor top talent, drive growth, and ensure technical excellence in a collaborative environment with strong leadership visibility.

You will oversee federal and state R&D tax credit studies across industries, act as the technical SME on IRC Section 41, identify qualifying activities, scope engagements, review calculations and deliverables, and help expand client relationships.

Qualifications

• Expertise in federal and state R&D tax credits.
• Experience leading multi-industry R&D tax credit engagements.
• Strong client relationship and communication skills.

Responsabilités

• Lead and manage federal and state R&D tax credit studies across multiple industries.
• Serve as a technical SME on IRC Section 41 and related tax credit regulations.
• Identify, evaluate, and document qualifying research activities and expenditures.
• Scope engagements and assess potential credit opportunities.
• Conduct technical interviews with engineers and client personnel.
• Review tax credit calculations, workpapers, narratives, and deliverables.
• Develop and maintain supporting documentation for credit claims.
