Job summary

Sandia National Laboratories is seeking an experienced R&D Systems Engineer to lead system-level qualification for the Mobile Guardian Transporter. This onsite role focuses on normal environmental qualification and electromagnetic testing, coordinating with DoD partners to ensure safety and mission success.

You will develop qualification strategies, manage test programs, and provide technical updates while collaborating with MGT design and analysis teams. Travel to test events is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline with 5 years of directly relevant experience.
• Ability to obtain a DOE Q clearance.
• Experience in system qualification and leading test execution of large system-level qualification tests.
• Familiarity with electromagnetic testing and electrical system qualification.

Responsibilities

• Develop qualification strategies aligned with program requirements.
• Manage a comprehensive system-level electromagnetic test program addressing HERO and shielding.
• Lead analysis and integration of qualification evidence for normal environments.
• Develop and release test plans, readiness reviews, execution, data assessments, and reports.
• Review and support subsystem and component qualification efforts with test plan oversight.
• Engage with internal Sandia partners and present status updates to stakeholders.
• Collaborate with MGT design and ModSim teams to align tests with requirements.
