Los Alamos National Laboratory in Los Alamos, NM seeks a Systems Engineer for the TESTeam to guide design, installation, and commissioning of new beamlines and end stations at LANSCE. You will coordinate with beam physicists and engineers to ensure performance, safety, and timely execution.

You will participate in design reviews, develop system interfaces, and mentor junior staff while supporting facility evolutions and related heavy-lift operations.

Competenze

• Solid systems-engineering foundation with hands‑on troubleshooting and field work.
• Experience with accelerator or nuclear facilities and their subsystems.
• Ability to work across technical teams and follow procedures.

Mansioni

• Coordinate facility designs and reviews with beam physicists and project leads.
• Lead technical alignment meetings and manage interfaces across subsystems.
• Assist with shielding, mechanical hardware, and heavy lifting planning.
• Support D&D planning and coordination for mechanical, electrical, radiological systems.
• Develop schedules, cost estimates, and project status reports.
• Oversee technical work and ensure safe, compliant execution.
