Job summary

Experis Technology Group in the Greater Boston area is seeking an experienced Systems Analyst to support R&D technology within a regulated biopharma context. You will partner with Clinical, Regulatory, Medical, and Drug Safety functions to translate workflows into practical tech solutions, including data capture, integration, and lifecycle management.

The ideal candidate has hands-on Veeva knowledge, strong business analysis skills, and experience operating in GxP-regulated pharmaceutical

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Life Sciences, or equivalent experience.
• 5–8 years of experience in R&D technology support across Clinical, Regulatory, Medical Affairs, Drug Safety/Pharmacovigilance, or related life sciences.
• Experience in the pharmaceutical/biotech life sciences industry and GxP-regulated environments.
• Hands-on with Veeva applications or the Veeva platform ecosystem.
• Strong requirements gathering, process analysis, documentation, and stakeholder facilitation.
• Understanding of system integrations, automation, and enterprise data flows.
• Experience with validated computerized systems and FDA computer system validation expectations.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Clinical, Regulatory, Medical, Drug Safety, and other R&D stakeholders to map processes and data needs.
• Translate business requirements into functional/technical specifications for R&D tech solutions.
• Support evaluation, implementation, and operation of applications across R&D.
• Develop and maintain software lifecycle and computer system validation documentation.
• Coordinate configurations, upgrades, releases, and incidents with vendors and internal teams.
• Lead data migration, mapping, curation, and system transition activities when required.
• Identify gaps and recommend improvements aligning tech with business needs.
• Troubleshoot data, integration, and application issues across teams.
• Ensure compliance with GxP, FDA expectations, cybersecurity, SOPs, and validation practices.
• Manage competing priorities across strategic initiatives, releases, and production support.
• Foster strong relationships between R&D business functions and technology teams.
• Participate in solution design discussions for system integrations, automation, and data flows.
