Kraft Heinz Company is seeking a Lab Assistant for the R&D Sweetener & Salt Lab at the Glenview, IL location. You will support product development by preparing samples, conducting tests, and documenting results to ensure accurate data and compliant lab operations.

This onsite role requires an associate degree or equivalent lab experience, strong attention to detail, and proficiency with Microsoft Office. You will work with scientists and technicians in a fast-paced, safety‑driven environment.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in related technical or scientific field (Food Science, Biology, Chemistry) or high school diploma with 2+ years of relevant lab/pilot plant experience.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to accurately follow formulas, SOPs, safety requirements, and documentation standards.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and data entry into laboratory or inventory systems.

Responsibilities

• Prepare ingredients, formulas, and samples according to procedures and test plans.
• Perform routine lab tests and document observations and results.
• Organize and support sensory evaluations, including panel setup and sample prep.
