Job summary

Kraft Heinz in Glenview is seeking a Pilot Plant Quality Technician to execute pilot plant quality activities in compliance with GMPs, food safety, and QA standards. You will learn lab tasks across production areas, maintain records, and communicate findings to prevent quality issues.

Based at the Glenview R&D Center, the role requires strong communication, ability to work autonomously, and proficiency with spreadsheets and lab equipment.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills (written, verbal, and presentation).
• Ability to work autonomously within standard work, using judgement to elevate non-standard issues.
• Knowledge in HACCP, Microbiology, Sanitation, Chemical Safety, Pest Control, and Quality Systems is a plus.
• Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new skills.
• Ability to use spreadsheets, databases and analytical tools.

Responsibilities

• Perform duties of general pilot plant quality technician in line with policies and standards regarding product quality, GMPs, and safety.
• Support upkeep and safe operation of pilot plant lab and calibration equipment.
• Report trouble calls and support lab equipment reviews.
• Communicate project status to cross-functional teams and meet deadlines.
• Balance multiple project priorities and adapt to schedule changes.
