Job summary

Amgen’s Summer 2027 Grad Intern – R&D Strategy & Performance Excellence (SPx) offers a hands-on program within the SPx team, part of the R&D Execution, Operations, and Strategy (EOS) organization. You’ll collaborate across departments to drive strategic transformation and deliver measurable results.

You will analyze data, support cross-functional projects, and help shape capabilities, business performance, and overall R&D productivity.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college/university.
• Enrollment in MBA/MS/PhD program with internship/coop eligibility.
• MBA/PhD track with first-year completion before internship.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute R&D strategy and roadmap within SPx.
• Collaborate across Research & Development and Chief Medical Office.
• Analyze problems, conduct qualitative/quantitative research, and deliver recommendations.
• Support strategic transformations, capability building, and performance excellence initiatives.
