Job summary

Amgen seeks a Grad Intern for the R&D Strategy & Performance Excellence (SPx) team in the Summer 2027. You will join a collaborative, cross-functional group focused on transforming R&D strategy, operations, and performance to drive productivity and excellence.

As part of SPx, you will develop analytical insights, support strategic initiatives across R&D, CMO, and functions, and contribute to change management, process improvements, and results delivery in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 18 years or older.
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.
• Currently enrolled in an MBA program for an MBA internship OR a Master’s program for a Master’s internship OR a PharmD program for a PharmD internship OR Ph.D. for a PhD internship; completion of the first year before internship starts.

Responsibilities

• Be an integral member of the SPx team, supporting R&D strategy and performance initiatives.
• Assist in developing and executing the R&D strategy and roadmap.
• Support transformations, change management, and continuous improvement programs.
• Collaborate across Research & Development, Chief Medical Office, and other functions.
• Analyze data, develop recommendations, and present findings to leadership.
