General Mills is seeking an R&D Scientist II to bring Epic Meat Snacks concepts to market from idea to store shelf. You will drive innovation, renovation, and cost savings across the Epic brand and work closely with ESC to feasibility and prototyping.

You will manage multiple projects, partner cross-functionally, and develop strong technical ties with external manufacturers to deliver successful product launches in Golden Valley, MN.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Food Science, Meat Science, Chemical Engineering, or related field.
• 2+ years of product development experience or relevant food manufacturing experience.
• Strong interpersonal and organizational skills; able to work cross-functionally with external stakeholders and consumers.
• Strong communication skills.

Responsabilités

• Design, develop, and commercialize a product meeting consumer, business, and manufacturing constraints.
• Develop and commercialize products that meet quality and regulatory constraints.
• Develop and execute a robust technical plan to manage technical risk.
• Manage projects to meet all critical milestones.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to move ideas through to commercialization.
• Build internal and external networks and influence business decisions.
