Job summary
BBI is seeking an R&D Scientist to join our team at the site in Maine. This permanent, full-time role focuses on antibody development, expression, purification, candidate screening, and related characterization to support our customers with reliable products.
You will provide scientific leadership, analyze complex data, collaborate with the Global R&D team and customers, and help drive new technology and product development while contributing to lab operations and process improvements.
Qualifications
- MS/PhD with immunology, cell/molecular biology, biochemistry experience.
- BS with 5–10 years of professional experience will be considered.
- Experience with antibody development and characterization is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide scientific leadership in immunology and antibody development.
- Analyze complex data and document results clearly.
- Collaborate with customers and R&D team to design strategies.
- Oversee work and coordinate with teams to deliver projects.
- Support new technology and product development and lab operations.
