Job summary

Formlabs in Somerville, MA is seeking a versatile Reliability Engineer to own system-level validation across electromechanical hardware. You will design test plans, run RCA analyses, and build automated rigs to stress components from the LPU to long-term performance.

You will collaborate with R&D, translate test results into actionable improvements, and contribute to design reviews to improve reliability from day one.

Qualifications

  • Experience validating complex electromechanical systems.
  • Ability to develop and execute system test plans.
  • Experience performing root cause analysis on field failures.
  • Proficient in Python for experimental setup and data analysis.
  • Familiarity with Linux and scripting is a plus.

We architect effective testing strategies, engineer advanced electro-mechanical test rigs, and extract valuable, actionable insights from the data.Are you a versatile and curious engineer who can see the whole system—from the smallest part to the user's workflow? Can you take complex data and turn it into a clear, compelling story?
