Job summary

Formlabs in Boston, MA is hiring a Robotic Systems Integration Engineer to fuse firmware and hardware into cohesive subsystems. You will architect interfaces, refine control algorithms, and own subsystem requirements through testing and validation.

You will apply Python scripting, LabVIEW, MATLAB and C++ for data analysis and debugging, contributing to a wide range of 3D printing products and medical device projects.

Qualifications

  • Experience designing electro-mechanical systems and subsystems.
  • Strong knowledge of motion control and sensors.
  • Experience managing system and subsystem requirements.
  • Hardware debugging and fault analysis experience.
  • Python scripting and data analysis skills preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Integrate firmware and hardware into a single system and drive prototypes to functional tests.
  • Collaborate with system architects to describe interfaces and data flows.
  • Define and refine sub-system interfaces and control algorithms.
  • Own subsystem requirements and track changes across the project.
  • Design and execute test plans, analyze results, and drive improvements.

In addition, you'll collaborate closely with design teams to overcome cross-disciplinary problems and ensure that we ship quality products. If you're eager to collaborate with other Systems Integration Engineers to support the full range of Formlabs products, we want you as a Robotic Systems Integration Engineer.
