Job summary

Mizuho OSI is seeking a Project Management Coordinator to support R&D in all project phases from planning to delivery. You will develop work plans, track progress, and produce status reports while coordinating materials and human resources to ensure on-time completion of medical device projects.

The role requires 4–6 years of related experience, strong MS Office skills, and experience with MS Project, ERP, or PLM systems is a plus.

Qualifications

• Requires 4-6 years of related experience. HS Diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Excellent computer skills including using Windows-based PCs and office equipment.
• Able to use Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Advanced Excel features such as Pivot Table and VLOOKUP are highly desirable.
• MS Project experience is a plus.
• ERP/PLM systems experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist and participate in R&D and cross-functional project meetings; document minutes; prepare/edit presentations and tables; coordinate deliverables across Marketing, Quality & Regulatory Affairs, Purchasing and Operations.
• Maintain document control and database; file all project-related documents (hard copy or electronic).
• Create and process documentation to release items into the Engineering Change Control database; interface with Document Control.
• Coordinate with management to allocate human resources based on project needs and scheduling.
• Assist in developing a comprehensive workflow process for the Project Management Department.
• Develop and review project status/reports with management; maintain scope, materials, and other details as required.
• Work with project teams to track tasks and assignments to completion; escalate issues as appropriate.
• Track and monitor project activities and team communication to ensure schedules run smoothly and tasks are completed.
• Report project status regularly to corresponding departments and management.
• Analyze problems and formulate plans to overcome challenges with high quality; make sound decisions.
• Understand the company objectives and support the Corporate Vision, Mission & Values, maintaining service and quality levels.
• Follow and support internal Quality System policies and regulatory requirements (21 CFR Part 820 and ISO standards).
