Job summary

Mizuho OSI is seeking a Project Management Coordinator to support the R&D project lifecycle from planning to execution and closure. You will help organize resources, track progress, and deliver status updates across Marketing, Quality & Regulatory Affairs, Purchasing and Operations.

The role requires 4–6 years of related experience, strong MS Office skills, and familiarity with MS Project. A business-like, detail-oriented approach will help ensure projects meet deadlines and goals.

Qualifications

• Requires 4-6 years of related experience. HS Diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Excellent computer skills including Windows-based PCs and office equipment.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office: Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Advanced Excel features such as PivotTable and VLOOKUP and reporting are highly desirable.
• Experience with MS Project is a plus.
• Experience with ERP/PLM systems is a plus.
• Strong organizational and scheduling skills; knowledge of project management best practices.
• Clear and effective written and verbal communication; capable of preparing meeting minutes, agendas, presentations, and reports.

Responsibilities

• Assist and participate in R&D and cross-functional team meetings; document minutes; prepare presentations and tables; coordinate processes for deliverables across departments.
• Maintain document control and project documents; file hard copy or electronic records.
• Create and process ECN documentation; interface with Document Control for related items.
• Coordinate with management to allocate human resources based on project needs and scheduling.
• Assist in developing a workflow for the Project Management Department.
• Develop and review project status/reports with management; manage scope and materials.
• Track work, tasks, and project assignments; escalate scheduling or urgent issues.
• Monitor project activities and team communication to ensure schedules run smoothly.
• Report project status to departments and management; communicate updates.
• Analyze problems and propose plans to overcome challenges with quality and speed.
