Job summary

The Henry M. Jackson Foundation for the Advancement of Military Medicine seeks a Program Coordinator to provide administrative project oversight within the Research and Development Operations portfolio in the San Antonio market.

You will work with program managers, investigators, and customers to meet programmatic goals and support contracting and purchasing tasks. You will coordinate with government and non-government contacts, manage reports, and assist in data collection and grant submissions

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree required.
• 0-2 years experience required; at least 1 year preferred.
• Knowledge of organizational objectives, the federal budget process, office automation.
• Ability to work completely independently, use sound judgement in solving problems.
• Coordinate many complex systems and programs simultaneously.
• Knowledge of project management principles and good communications skills.
• This position requires obtaining and maintaining a T1/Public Trust background check.

Responsibilities

• Under supervision, ensures terms and conditions of the award are adhered to.
• Monitors study performance and oversees development of new protocols.
• May require regulatory support.
• Communicates with internal staff and external customers; negotiates with vendors for equipment.
• Provides administrative support such as hiring, purchasing, and tracking progress.
• Assists in data collection, maintenance, analysis, and evaluation for grants, presentations, and publications.
• May include budget planning/forecast.
