Job summary

Tandem Diabetes Care is seeking a Program Manager to lead cross-functional teams in delivering new medical device software products from concept to commercialization. This role emphasizes PMO-driven process execution, design controls, and agile collaboration with engineering, regulatory, and manufacturing partners.

The ideal candidate has proven program management experience in FDA-regulated environments, strong communication, and the ability to influence stakeholders across levels.

Qualifications

• Experience leading multi-functional teams in FDA-regulated environments.
• Ability to drive process improvements within a PMO.
• Strong communication and executive-level influencing skills.
• Proven track record delivering complex software/projects to market.
• Familiarity with Design Controls and risk management in medical devices.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies in product development.
• Proficient with project management tools and software development lifecycle.
• Ability to manage budgets, schedules, and resources across programs.

Responsibilities

• Provides project management leadership to a multi-functional core team from concept through commercialization.
• Directs project plans, schedules, cost analyses, and resource allocation.
• Leads process improvement initiatives related to product development and change control.
• Communicates regular status updates to leadership and external partners.
• Ensures projects meet design control requirements and quality systems.
