Job Description

Our team is expanding and hiring a Product Engineer for the Research and Development Fiber Cable Engineering group in Claremont, NC. The Engineering team provides innovation and support for various fiber cable families offered by CommScope, including Premises, Indoor/Outdoor, and Outdoor Fiber cables. This position offers the opportunity to collaborate with multiple functional groups within CommScope, such as Product Management, Field Application Engineering, Operations, Purchasing, and Quality.

Must-Haves

• Experience designing fiber ribbons and ribbon fiber cable
• Five or more years of engineering design experience
• Experience working in the fiber optic cable manufacturing industry, providing solutions for data centers, business enterprises, telecommunications, cable television, and residential broadband networks.
