Job summary

Ingredion Incorporated in Bridgewater, NJ, is seeking an ambitious student for a summer internship in Process Innovation & Development. You will support a defined research project, run lab and pilot trials, optimize process parameters, and help scale new products in a hybrid/on-site setting.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a bachelor’s or master’s degree program in a related field.
• Ability to work safely in a laboratory and pilot plant environment.
• Excellent verbal and written technical communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Operate lab and pilot plant equipment safely with minimal supervision.
• Evaluate unit operations, optimize parameters, and scale up processes.
• Run lab and pilot trials, analyze data, and report results.
• Present status and outcomes to team and stakeholders.
• Maintain ELN records and support decision-making for NPD projects.
