Job summary

XP Power is seeking an Electrical Engineer to support the design, development and delivery of switch-mode power supplies for industrial, healthcare and technology apps. You will test, troubleshoot, calibrate, and repair AC-DC and DC-DC power modules, and collaborate with engineering teams to deliver robust designs.

Ideal candidates have an associate degree in electronics (bsc preferred) and hands-on lab experience with power electronics, high voltage systems and firmware debugging.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in electronic engineering or related discipline; BSc preferred.
• Knowledge of AC-DC and DC-DC converter topologies (fly-back, forward, boost, buck, buck-boost).
• Proficiency with lab equipment for power supply design and testing (oscilloscopes, DMMs, EMI analyzers, loads, sources).
• Experience with high voltage systems and firmware debugging is a plus.
• Strong English communication, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work in a cross-functional team in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Support electrical design, development and delivery of switch-mode power supplies.
• Test, troubleshoot, calibrate, and repair AC-DC and DC-DC power supplies.
• Build prototypes and verify against documentation.
• Collaborate with electrical and mechanical design teams to optimize solutions.
• Construct and test early prototype breadboards and magnetics.
• Perform fault reproduction, system characterization and root cause analysis.
• Deliver technical reports and participate in new product development during qualification.
