Job summary

Elanco is seeking an Advisor, R&D Portfolio Management to lead transformation of portfolio processes, data quality, and insights in collaboration with R&D and IT. You will drive analytics, governance, and stakeholder alignment across functions to optimize the R&D portfolio.

You will partner with the SPMO and Portfolio Leads to translate strategic intent into prioritized projects, monitor KPIs, and support executive decision-making in a hybrid role based around Indianapolis, IN.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, Life Sciences, or related field
• Minimum 8–10+ years in R&D project management within pharma or animal health
• Experience in R&D Operations Portfolio Management or Strategic Planning
• Experience guiding process improvement or transformation initiatives
• Strong financial acumen with data modeling and business case formation; proficient with BI tools

Responsibilities

• Portfolio Management Transformation (50%): improve processes, tools, evaluation; enable single source of truth in PPM; support PPM Intelligence rollout
