Elanco is seeking an Advisor, R&D Portfolio Management to drive the transformation of how R&D portfolios are managed, moving from static reporting to live, insight-guided evaluations. The role partners with R&D, IT, and Finance to bridge project execution with executive governance.

The position focuses on portfolio strategy, prioritization, and governance, delivering decision-ready insights to senior leadership and aligning resource allocation with corporate goals.

Qualifications

• Experience translating portfolio strategy into actionable project priorities.
• Ability to partner with cross-functional teams across R&D, IT, Finance.
• Strong data analysis, dashboards, and governance experience.

Responsabilités

• Portfolio Management Transformation: identify opportunities to enhance portfolio management processes, tools, and evaluation capabilities; support rollout of data improvements and live insights.
• Strategic Liaison: embed with SPMO and Strategic Portfolio Leads to translate strategy into actionable project priorities with updated valuation models.
• Portfolio Strategy: synthesize inputs from Corporate Strategy, Innovation Strategy, and R&D to advise on resource allocations to meet strategic goals.
• Prioritization & Resource Allocation Support: conduct portfolio-wide prioritization and trade-off analyses for dynamic resource allocation across the R&D pipeline.
• Performance Monitoring, Governance & Cross-Functional Collaboration: establish KPI dashboards and present decision-ready insights to the Portfolio Governance Committee.
