Job summary

Dow Performance Monomers R&D seeks a Pilot Plant Operator in Collegeville, PA to support 24/7 pilot plant and lab projects, providing technical support to scientists and engineers to deliver innovative process technologies.

You will monitor complex chemical processes, operate reactors and distillation columns, train team members, and ensure adherence to safety and environmental standards.

Qualifications

High school diploma/GED with 5+ years related experience or an Associate's degree or higher in science.
Ability to read and follow P&ID concepts and operating instructions.
Ability to stand long periods and lift up to 10 lb; willingness to work rotating shifts.
U.S. work authorization; no visa sponsorship is available.

Responsibilities

Operate pilot plant and laboratory tasks in 24/7 environments with team support.
Monitor complex chemical processes via control screens and SOPs.
Develop and implement experimental plans; train team members and contractors.
Ensure safety, regulatory compliance, and proper waste handling.
