Qualifications

• 2–5 years of technical, laboratory, pilot plant, or manufacturing experience.
• Associate-level coursework (or equivalent experience) in science, engineering, or related field.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to operate process equipment.
• Ability to interpret schematics, work instructions, and technical documentation.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Ability to lift to 30 lbs regularly.
• Ability to wear respiratory protection.
• Willingness to work overtime as needed.
• High attention to detail and commitment to quality.

Responsibilities

• Execute pilot-scale trials to evaluate new materials, designs, and process improvements
• Operate and maintain equipment used in anode mixing and battery component processing
• Manage and process raw materials into finished products to support new technology development
• Collect, measure, and analyze data; provide real-time feedback to R&D partners
• Troubleshoot equipment and process issues and collaborate cross-functionally to resolve them
• Maintain strict adherence to safety protocols, including chemical handling and LOTO procedures
• Identify and report unsafe conditions and support continuous safety improvements
• Maintain housekeeping and 5S standards within the pilot plant
• Participate in continuous improvement and team-based problem-solving initiatives
