Theuniversityunion is seeking a Pilot Plant Operator in Earth City, MO to support R&D at a pilot-scale facility. You will operate chemical equipment, collect samples, maintain equipment, and perform general lab and plant tasks to ensure safe and efficient operations.

The ideal candidate is safety-focused, detail-oriented, and comfortable with physically demanding, team-based work schedules, including nights and weekends as required.

Qualifications

• Safety-minded with hazard awareness.
• Ability to follow written and verbal Instructions.
• Experience in pilot plant/industrial operations preferred.

Responsabilités

• Report to Pilot Plant Supervisor or R&D Manager.
• Collect and label process samples per protocols.
• Perform routine cleanup and waste removal in the plant.
• Lift and move items up to 50 lbs.
• Operate pilot plant equipment per SOPs and training.
• Log data and support reporting via basic computer systems.
• Work 12-hour shifts in a physically active role.
• Handle chemicals and process streams safely after training.
• Assist engineers, operators and crew as needed.
