Job summary

Lancesoft is seeking an R&D Operations Technician II in Acton, MA to support R&D teams by preparing and managing devices, equipment, and materials. You will maintain asset records, coordinate readiness, and ensure a safe, organized support experience while owning standard work with supervision.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with at least four years of relevant experience, or an associate degree or technical education with at least two years of relevant experience.
• Experience in asset management, inventory, and service operations is preferred.
• Ability to learn new applications and business systems relevant to R&D operations.

Responsibilities

• Fulfill equipment, device, material, transfer, return, and related support requests.
• Prepare, inspect, configure, stage, deploy, recover, transfer, and return devices and equipment.
• Maintain asset, inventory, assignment, location, and lifecycle records in approved systems.
• Receive shipments, apply labels, store materials, and document custody and disposition.
• Maintain stockrooms and distribution points using 5S principles.
• Support inventories, asset audits, and corrective record updates.
• Perform basic troubleshooting, configuration checks, and escalation as needed.
• Coordinate repair, calibration, maintenance, or specialized support.
• Keep records current with status, blockers, and next steps.
• Create and maintain how-to guides and knowledge resources.
