Job summary

Lancesoft is seeking a Systems Engineer Test Technician Lead to manage laboratory materials, tools, and test environments in Acton, MA. The role supports R&D testing, builds prototypes, maintains equipment, and ensures test readiness for multiple projects across V&V activities.

The candidate will work with engineers to run manual and automated tests, document results, and help drive robust medical device design and validation processes in a fast-paced lab setting.

Qualifications

• Minimum requirements: High school diploma or GED with 5+ years in a lab environment or equivalent education/experience.
• Strong knowledge of lab equipment setup, test fixtures, and data collection.
• Experience with MS Office (Word, Excel) and technical writing capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with systems, development, and test engineers to align schedules and equipment needs.
• Build and set up test fixtures and lab equipment for testing.
• Ensure equipment readiness for test execution across projects.
• Leverage tools to automate tests and report results.
• Collect logs and data for issues observed during testing; troubleshoot as needed.
• Execute manual and automated tests and document results.
