Canon Recruiting in Maple Grove, MN is seeking a detail-oriented R&D Technician for a 12-month, full-time assignment. The role focuses on test method development, mechanical testing, and design verification testing to support product development and engineering initiatives.

Ideal candidates have hands-on experience with mechanical tests, operate Instron testing equipment, collect and analyze data, and collaborate with R&D engineers.

Qualifications

• Hands-on mechanical testing experience.
• Experience with test method development.
• Ability to collect accurate measurements and document results.
• Ability to troubleshoot equipment issues.
• Comfortable working in a small team or independently.

Responsabilités

• Perform mechanical testing and design verification to support R&D.
• Develop and improve testing methods and procedures.
• Operate Instron and other mechanical testing equipment.
• Assist R&D engineers with testing, development, and analysis.
• Set up and maintain pilot and production testing equipment.
• Measure, monitor and analyze testing results.
