Canon Recruiting in Maple Grove, MN is seeking an R&D Technician to support product development through mechanical testing, test method development, and verification testing.

The candidate will operate Instron equipment, collect and analyze data, document results, and assist engineers while ensuring compliance with quality standards.

This hands-on role requires a detail-oriented approach and ability to work independently or with a team in a fast-paced environment.

Formación

• Associate's degree or equivalent technical experience.
• 1+ year in mechanical testing or related R&D environment.
• Hands-on experience with test method development and mechanical testing.
• Experience operating Instron testing equipment and performing design verification testing.
• Ability to follow procedures, measure accurately, and document results.

Responsabilidades

• Perform mechanical testing and design verification testing to support R&D.
• Develop, execute, and improve testing methods and procedures.
• Operate Instron and other equipment to evaluate product/material performance.
• Assist engineers with testing, development, and data analysis.
• Set up and maintain pilot/production testing equipment.
• Measure, monitor, and analyze testing results.
• Document testing procedures and findings clearly.
• Identify inconsistencies and troubleshoot equipment issues.
