Job summary

Aptyx is seeking an R&D Materials Technician to manage prototype material receipt, inventory control, and ERP transactions. You will partner with Engineering, Quality, and Supply Chain to ensure materials are received, documented, and available for development timelines.

You will own engineering inventory, material transactions, supplier documentation, and ERP data accuracy, while upholding quality system and customer requirements.

Qualifications

• Two to five years of experience in inventory control or materials management.
• Experience using ERP/MRP systems is required.
• Medical device or regulated manufacturing experience is preferred.
• Associate degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering Technology, Operations or related field is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Receive prototype materials and maintain inventory accuracy.
• Review shipments for accuracy and document discrepancies with Quality and Purchasing.
• Maintain ERP data, create master records, BOMs, and Manufacturing Orders.
• Support Lean and 5S initiatives and improve inventory processes.
