Job summary

Kubota Tractor Corporation seeks a Manager, R&D - PEaT to drive engineering support, research, and validation for Kubota NAR1 R&D initiatives. You will oversee Project Engineers, steer technology product development, and lead system-level tests, validation, and documentation.

The role emphasizes cross-functional leadership, prototyping, and collaboration with vendors and research partners to accelerate development.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, computer science, information systems, engineering, or related fields is required.
Master’s degree is preferred.
5+ years of engineering or related technical experience.
Prior management, team, or project leadership experience is required.
Experience in Agriculture or Construction industries preferred.
Willingness to travel up to 25%.

Responsibilities

Provide engineering support, research, documentation, integration and validation for Kubota NAR1 R&D initiatives.
Oversee Project Engineers and drive technology product development projects.
Perform system wide functional tests and customer validation tests with testing plans/requirements.
Lead mechanical, electrical, and software systems development for machine automation and connectivity.
Develop and integrate software programs and scripts for prototyping and testing.
Mentor Project Engineers and collaborate with vendors and research partners to advance technology.
