Job summary

Great Plains Manufacturing, a Kubota company, is seeking a Test and Validation Engineer to join our R&D Product Testing Team in Assaria, KS. This on-site role involves developing test methods, performing lab tests, and generating reports for prototypes and equipment.

You will collaborate with design and manufacturing teams, analyze data, and ensure compliance with standards while supporting travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to safely troubleshoot/diagnose problems.
• Knowledge of hydraulic and electrical control systems; data analysis experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop test and validation methods for agricultural and construction equipment while ensuring safety, quality, durability, and reliability.
• Attend and contribute to design review meetings.
• Perform lab tests, analyze data and prepare engineering reports on prototypes.
• Oversee lab tests to align with test requests and standards.
• Coordinate test setups and data collection with Shop Foreman and Technicians.
• Prepare technical reports used by engineering and management.
