Great Plains Manufacturing in Salina, KS, is seeking an experienced Construction Equipment Test & Validation Technician to join Kubota CE R&D North America. You will assemble, operate and test prototype machines, collect data and provide engineering feedback in a cross-functional team.

Responsibilities include lab and field testing, equipment calibration, inventory management, and ensuring 6S and shop safety standards are met. Some travel may be required (up to 5%).

Qualifications

• AA or equivalent from two-year college or technical school, or 1 year related experience
• Ability to read and interpret prints and assembly instructions
• Ability to use basic hand and power tools
• Operate construction equipment and turret forklift
• English language competency in written and spoken forms
• Must obtain and maintain DOT license within 60 days
• Proficiency with Word/Excel/PowerPoint and workflow software
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally up to 5%
• Strong mechanical aptitude with troubleshooting skills
• Experience with test equipment and data collection systems

Responsabilités

• Assemble/repair prototype machines and provide engineering feedback
• Assist engineers with assembly, disassembly and inspection of test machines
• Document and communicate vehicle/user interaction quality to engineers
• Install, diagnose and use sensors and data acquisition equipment
• Conduct tests on machines per industry standards (lab & field)
• Follow validation master plans and related documentation
• Maintain calibration records and ISO 9001 support activities
• Operate prototype machines in field testing and report results
• Keep shop area 6S compliant and safety standards
• Manage parts inventory and shop supplies; assist with DOT compliance
