Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 8 years of directly relevant experience or equivalent.
• DOE Q security clearance to start.
• Graduate degree (MS or PhD) preferred; leadership experience required.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a diverse team of researchers, data scientists, software developers, and technical staff.
• Partner with sponsors and stakeholders to deliver current commitments and identify future opportunities.
• Shape department vision and strategic direction for open research and mission-driven applications.
• Collaborate as a Center 1400 management team member to execute organizational strategy.
• Oversee day-to-day management: planning, performance, resource allocation, hiring, and staff development.
