Job summary

Sandia National Laboratories in Albuquerque, NM, seeks a Senior Manager to lead the Integrated Nanotechnologies Group within the Materials, Physics, and Chemistry Center. The role includes serving as Co-Director for CINT, a DOE-LANL partnership, guiding a team of 50–60 staff and postdocs, and engaging with a broad national user community.

You will shape strategy, ensure safety and compliance, mentor researchers, and coordinate with Sandia and LANL leadership to advance nanoscience and quantum

Qualifications

• Ph.D. in Physics, Chemistry, Materials or related field.
• Minimum of three years of formal supervisory/managerial leadership experience.
• Proven record of scientific achievements in nanoscience, nanotechnology, quantum science, microelectronics or materials science.
• Experience overseeing multi-disciplinary research teams and managing resources and programs.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Integrated Nanotechnologies Group and serve as Co-Director of CINT.
• Ensure safety, environment, security, quality, and administrative policies.
• Collaborate with center management to drive strategic, tactical, and operational success.
• Support Sandia's DOE national lab missions and manage a high-performing user program.
