Job summary

Broadcom's Mainframe Software Division (MSD) is seeking a talented Software Engineer to join the Mainframe CyberSecurity & Compliance team. You will build, test, and support security-focused mainframe software, collaborating with agile teams to deliver high-quality solutions used by some of the world's largest enterprises.

The role emphasizes clean architecture, rigorous validation, and automated testing, with opportunities to interact with product management and customers.

Qualifications

• Proven Mainframe knowledge and skills.
• Familiarity with z/OS and security subsystems.
• Proficiency in IBM Assembler and Metal C.
• Strong understanding of cryptography and security practices for mainframes.
• Experience with RCAC/ACF2/Top Secret and PKI management.
• Knowledge of ICSF, z/OS SSL, and PKCS standards.
• Experience with IBM Crypto Express coprocessors.
• Experience with Java cryptographic providers on IBM Z.
• Strong debugging and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills.

Responsibilities
