Job summary
Broadcom’s Mainframe Software Division (MSD) seeks an experienced Software Engineer to build, test, and support security-focused mainframe software. You will work on encryption, cryptography, and security management within the Mainframe CyberSecurity & Compliance team, contributing to a portfolio used by leading global companies.
You will collaborate in an Agile environment, participate in reviews, interact with customers, and help drive continuous improvement in development practices while
Qualifications
- Proven Mainframe knowledge and skills.
- z/OS familiarity required.
- Proficiency in IBM Assembler and Metal C.
- Strong security & mainframe cryptography knowledge.
- Experience with PKCS and ICSF.
- Experience with IBM Z Java cryptographic providers.
Responsibilities
- Develop high-quality software design and architecture.
- Produce, test, and debug software solutions.
- Write clean, efficient, well-documented code.
- Participate in code reviews and improve development processes.
- Lead Agile activities: planning, refinement, sprint reviews.
- Interact with customers for requirements and feedback.
- Coordinate with management and internal teams.
- Automate tasks with scripting.
- Perform validation and testing.
- Keep software updated with latest technologies.
