Job summary

Qualifications

• PhD with >5 years industry experience or MSc/BSc with >7 years industry experience in agronomy, crop science, or plant breeding.
• Deep expertise in potato storage research and varietal performance evaluation.
• Potato or onion storage research experience required.

Responsibilities

• Design and lead storage research trials evaluating variety-specific performance during storage.
• Coordinate intake, storage management, and weekly evaluations with partner farms.
• Lead North America variety qualification from design to processing, including samples for sensory testing.
