Job summary

Plant Grow Harvest seeks a Regional Agronomist based in Arizona to protect and improve potato crop performance across PGH farms. You will develop agronomic plans, interpret field data, and provide practical recommendations on soil, fertility, irrigation, crop protection, plant health, and harvest readiness.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Agronomy, Crop Science, Plant Science, Soil Science, Agricultural Science or closely related field.
  • At least 3 years of experience in commercial potato production.
  • Experience interpreting soil, tissue, moisture, and yield information.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and data management tools.

Responsibilities

  • Develop season-long agronomic plans across PGH-owned and partner farms.
  • Inspect fields regularly; evaluate crop and soil conditions; provide weekly recommendations.
  • Create and maintain standardized procedures for sampling, scouting, and harvest evaluations.
  • Design soil-health and rotation plans to improve long-term productivity and protect farmland value.
  • Develop fertility and crop-protection recommendations; support purchasing decisions.
