Job summary

Sandia National Laboratories seeks a Cleared RD Laboratory Support Technologist for Power Source Production, onsite. You will join a product development team focusing on manufacturability and work hands-on in a laboratory setting to support development, qualification, and production of power source components.

The role requires an Associate's degree in a related science or equivalent experience, lab experience, and a DOE Q clearance.

Qualifications

• Experience working in a laboratory environment.
• Ability to work in a team with staff, technologists, support personnel, and vendors.
• Must be able to work onsite.
• Active DOE Q clearance, or equivalent, required to start.

Responsibilities

• Operate equipment such as microscopes and machining tools.
• Develop, build and maintain instruments, hardware and processes.
• Perform calibrations, adjustments, and repairs as needed.
• Monitor experiments and record observations to support development and testing of power sources.
• Prepare data and information for scientific and engineering reports and publications.
