Job summary

BAC, located in Jessup, MD, invites motivated students pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's in Mechanical Engineering or Manufacturing Engineering to join our Lab team. You will work with the Lab manager and engineers to improve test processes and assist in innovation projects.

The role emphasizes hands-on work, process mapping, lean tools, and potential lab automation through data analysis and instrumentation. Overtime may apply; compensation ranges by role.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering or related field.
• Experience in electro-mechanical control systems.
• Enjoys hands-on projects in a lab setting.
• Previous experience in lab testing processes, including instrumentation and measurement techniques.
• Demonstrated capability with Microsoft Office and AutoCAD.

Responsibilities

• Assist in improving test processes in the lab.
• Support Lab Innovation Projects.
• Map processes and optimize workflow.
• Work on Lab 5S and process improvements.
• Assist in lab automation projects (process control and data analysis).

• Demonstrated capability with Microsoft Office and AutoCAD family products
• Knowledge of Lean tools a plus

BAC Hiring Compensation Range $22 - $28 per hour.

BAC provides additional earnings in the form of overtime as applicable under law.
