Job summary

Ultipro in Maryland is offering a mechanical engineering internship focused on 3D CAD sheet metal design and drafting, plus drawing conversion from AutoCAD to Autodesk Inventor. You will design sheet metal parts, analyze and debug, and rework as needed, while preparing reports and presenting results at project end.

This program aims to give interns a full understanding of BAC engineering design and fabrication.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Mechanical design skills and understanding of mechanical design practices.
• Must be mechanically inclined and able to visualize spatial relationships.
• 3D CAD experience (Autodesk Inventor).
• Strong understanding of AutoCAD.
• Autodesk Vault knowledge preferred.
• Previous internship experience preferred.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Pursing a Bachelors (Junior or above) in Mechanical Engineering or related field
• Mechanical Design skills and understanding of mechanical design practices
• Must be mechanically inclined and be able to visualize mechanical (spatial) relationships
• 3D Computer-Aided-Design (CAD) experience (i.e. Autodesk Inventor)
• Thorough understanding of AutoCAD
• Autodesk Vault knowledge preferred
• Previous internship experience preferred

BAC Hiring Compensation Range $22 - $28 per hour.

BAC provides additional earnings in the form of overtime as applicable under law.
