Job summary

Virtue America in Maryland is seeking an entry-level Research and Development Assistant to support laboratory experiments, sample preparation, and data collection within our pharmaceutical and biotech projects. You will assist senior scientists, maintain equipment, document results, and ensure compliance with SOPs and safety guidelines in a hybrid lab setting.

Fresh graduates with 0–2 years of experience are encouraged to apply for this contract role.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s or master’s degree in biotechnology, biochemistry, microbiology, chemistry, or pharmacy.
Fresh graduates or 0–2 years' experience encouraged to apply.
Basic understanding of lab procedures and research techniques.
Knowledge of sample preparation and documentation.

Responsibilities

Assist research scientists with laboratory experiments and product development activities.
Prepare samples, chemical solutions, reagents, and laboratory materials.
Perform routine laboratory testing and record experimental results.
Support research projects, data collection, and analysis.
Maintain laboratory equipment, instruments, and supplies.
Prepare and maintain research reports and laboratory documentation.
Follow laboratory safety standards, SOPs, and quality procedures.
