Job summary

Experis Technology Group seeks an R&D Assistant in Montvale, NJ for a 12-month contract. You will support formulation, run experiments, and collaborate with Marketing, Regulatory and Manufacturing to drive development of new consumer products.

The role favors an early-career scientist with hands-on lab experience and strong documentation skills. SOP/GLP/ISO familiarity and cross-functional teamwork are valued in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant science field.
• 0-2 years in lab, R&D, or product development.
• Understanding of formulation principles and lab testing techniques.
• Experience with SOPs, GLP/ISO is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support the development and formulation of new products and technologies based on consumer insights and brand initiatives.
• Assist with product development projects and serve as an R&D representative throughout the development process.
• Partner with cross-functional teams including Marketing, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Regulatory, and R&D to achieve project milestones and objectives.
• Conduct product performance evaluations, testing, and analysis while maintaining accurate documentation and laboratory records.
• Perform laboratory bench work, maintain laboratory equipment and supplies, and follow SOP, ISO, GLP, and safety protocols.

• Understanding of formulation principles, chemical interactions, and laboratory testing techniques.Strong organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Experience working with SOPs, GLP, ISO standards, Microsoft Office applications, and cross-functional teams is preferred.
