Ethicon, Inc. in Raritan, NJ, is recruiting a Summer 2027 R&D Intern focused on wound closure and healing. You will join a collaborative team of scientists and engineers to support new product development addressing unmet needs with antibacterial tech and cardiovascular surgery.

Qualifications

• Must be actively enrolled in an accredited university pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree.
• Minimum GPA of 3.0 or higher strongly preferred.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team.

Responsabilités

• Design key project studies with cross-functional teams.
• Test and characterize prototype devices and competitive products.
• Document test protocols, generate final reports, and capture meeting minutes.
• Collaborate with engineers and outside suppliers on project activities.
• Perform hands-on lab work in engineering laboratories.
• Use machining processes for medical device builds and evaluation.
• Attend VOC labs with surgeons to gather clinical insights.
