Lynx Software Technologies, Inc. is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer (R&D Innovation) to prototype and validate emerging tech initiatives, extending the core OS, virtualization, and graphics/GPGPU capabilities for adjacent markets.

You will lead research into next-generation architectures, toolchains, and secure computing models, engaging with academia, and translating proof-of-concept work into production-ready solutions while communicating risk and tradeoffs.

Qualifikationen

• 5-8+ years of experience in software/hardware/embedded engineering
• Proficiency in prototyping, rapid iteration, and exploratory development
• Programming languages: C, Python, Rust, OpenGL, Vulkan
• Solution integration: Linux, Containers, Virtualization, Kubernetes, IPSec
• Strong communication skills to present technical risk, feasibility, and tradeoffs

Aufgaben

• Design, prototype, and test emerging tech features in areas adjacent to our core product roadmap.
• Lead research into next-generation architectures, toolchains, or secure computing models.
• Explore novel paradigms (e.g., ML at the edge, neuromorphic computing, quantum-resilient architectures).
• Engage with academic and research partners to stay at the forefront of technology.
• Conduct feasibility studies and technical assessments for early-stage concepts.
• Translate proof-of-concept work into production-adjacent solutions.
• Perform additional job duties as assigned.
