Job summary

KLN Family Brands is seeking an R&D Formulation Intern for the summer of 2027 at our Perham, MN facility. You will work with Pet Food Scientists and our formulation/operations teams to support product research, development, and formulation during a 10-12 week program.

Ideal candidates are college juniors or seniors pursuing Animal Science, Chemistry, or Biology, who are eager to learn, collaborate in a team, and contribute to the growth of our pet food brands.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing college coursework relevant to the internship.

Responsibilities

• Gain knowledge of the production cycle for pet food products.
• Assist R&D and formulation teams with day-to-day duties, including product research, development and formulation.
• Participate in project work driven by business needs.
