Job summary

OSI Group is offering a Research and Development Summer Internship in Warrenville, IL. The role provides project-based experience in a food manufacturing environment, with a final presentation of findings to corporate management at internship end.

You will assist in formulation, customer presentations, and daily lab/plant tasks, gaining real-world safety, culinary, and product development insights.

Qualifications

• Completed at least one year in the Culinary Arts program.
• BS in Food Science or related area preferred.
• Ability to consume and ingest protein products.
• Able to stand at the bench for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Support the R&D team with food product formulation from bench top to production run.
• Assist in preparing and delivering customer presentations.
• Support day-to-day lab and plant needs, including stocking, material orders, setup and cleanup of demonstrations and plant trials.
