Job summary

The OSI Group, a premier food processing partner, offers an R&D Internship in Illinois. You will support product formulation, assist with customer presentations, and help in daily lab and plant tasks.

Gain hands-on experience across bench-top formulation, production runs, and lab activities, with final project presentations to management. Requires one year in Culinary Arts; BS in Food Science preferred.

Qualifications

• Completed at least one year in Culinary Arts program.
• BS in Food Science or related field preferred.
• Ability to consume and ingest protein products created and reviewed.
• No allergies
• Can stand at bench and lift/carry ingredients

Responsibilities

• Assist in food product formulation from bench top to production run.
• Assist in customer presentations.
• Assist in day-to-day laboratories and plant needs (stocking, ordering materials, set up/cleaning after presentations and trials).

Education

Culinary Arts program (1 year completed)

BS in Food Science or related field

Safety awareness

Bench-side stamina (stand, lift up to 50 lbs)
